Title: Ready, Positioned, Competitive: A Small Business Guide to Procurement Readiness
Description:
Government and institutional contracting continue to offer significant opportunities for small businesses, but succeeding in today’s procurement environment requires more than simply registering as a vendor or obtaining a certification.
Ready, Positioned, Competitive: A Small Business Guide to Procurement Readiness provides small business owners with a practical roadmap for preparing their companies to pursue public- and private-sector contracting opportunities. Participants will learn how to strengthen their business infrastructure, position their capabilities for buyers and prime contractors, identify and evaluate the right opportunities, understand solicitation and compliance requirements, build competitive pricing and teaming strategies, and develop stronger proposals.
The session will also address the changing supplier-diversity and procurement landscape, including how businesses can continue leveraging small-business and supplier certifications while strengthening their value proposition beyond certification alone.
Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of where they are procurement-ready, where gaps remain, and what steps they should take next to become more competitive.
